We came across an excellent blog post this afternoon that dives into the psyche behind why and how creative minds disregard potential requests and offers that encompass the use of creativity.
The piece examines a Hungarian psychology professor who writes to famous creators asking them to be interviewed for a book he was writing. One of the most intruiging things about his project was the number of people who said “no.”
Perhaps the most surprising of all, are the reasons given behind denying participation in the interview. You might be pleasantly taken back by how familiar some of these reasons may sound to you 😉
